  In 1987, a group of Dominican specialists, under the leadership of the Dr Ivanhoe F. Baez, decides to open the first clinic in the Dominican Republic specialized in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

   On February 10th of 1988 is inaugurated, the Center of Plastic Surgery of Santo Domingo, (CECIP). Located at Cesar Nicolas Penson street No. 11, Gazcue. This clinic, immediately received a great welcome from the population, and was begun to integrate other plastic surgeons who although do not had their doctor's office took their patients to be operated.

  
     
   

     
   Soon after was made evident that the location was littler and the beds did not give supply to receive the multiple patients, we thought to amplify the clinic, and fortunately, we acquire the perfect lot that was contiguous exactly with the initial clinic. We acquired the same one and we constructed a modern building designed for the specific functions of a clinic of this nature.

   On March 1999 we transferred to our new premises in which we can offer all the facilities and services to our patients and where also we counted on other specialties of support, to offer an integral and complete service.
